What Items Can We Take? Accepted & Prohibited Items
One of the most common questions we get is: “Can you take that?” The short answer is — we can take almost everything. Below is a clear breakdown of what we haul, what we donate, and the small category of items that require special handling we’re not able to provide.
✅ Items We Accept
- All furniture — sofas, mattresses, beds, dressers, tables, chairs
- Appliances — refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, dishwashers
- Electronics — TVs, computers, monitors, printers (e-waste fee may apply)
- Construction debris — drywall, lumber, flooring, cabinets
- Yard waste — branches, brush, bagged leaves
- Clothing and household goods
- Boxes and packing materials
- Exercise equipment
- Hot tubs (additional labour charge applies)
- Pianos (call to confirm — size dependent)
⚠️ Items Requiring Special Handling (Call First)
- Refrigerants — we handle freon recovery for fridges and AC units as part of the job
- Propane tanks — we accept empty tanks only
- Car batteries — call to confirm
❌ Items We Cannot Accept
- Asbestos-containing materials
- Lead paint debris
- Chemicals, solvents, and pesticides
- Medical waste or biohazardous material
- Liquid paint (dried paint in cans is fine)
